Walking Hanoi Old Quarter

Hanoi Old Quarter is an interesting place to walk around and good ideal for shopping. The old quarter consists 36 streets inside and some new streets. There are many things to see and lots of merchants located very near Hoan Kiem lake, including a night market which held from Friday to Sunday. There are lots of shops to buy souvenirs, clothing, shoes and other inexpensive items.

The highlight here is all most streets begin is Hang: Hang Ngang, Hang Dao, Hang Ma…..the meaning of each street is different and each named for the goods sold on it, for example: Hang Ngang, Hang Dao for shopping and night market.
